Muffins for Mums

St. Peter’s Primary celebrated Mother’s Day with “Muffins for Mums” on Monday, May 8th. It was a special day for all the mums who were invited to come and share coffee and muffins with each other before visiting their children’s classroom.

The morning began with the Glee club performing a song for the mums, which gave the morning an entertaining start! After that, the parents went to their child’s classroom and completed a Mother’s Day activity with them. The activities ranged from making fact sheets about mothers to creating art pieces and presenting cards.

Each classroom had a photo booth set up outside the classroom to capture the memories. The students and their mums had a great time taking pictures and creating funny photos to remember the special morning.

It was evident from the smiles on everyone’s faces that it was a morning enjoyed by all. It was great to see our mums spending time in the classrooms and seeing all the exciting things their children have been learning in class. The students also enjoyed having their mums visit their classrooms and being able to share their learning as well as the activities planned.

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to all the mums who joined us on this special day. We hope that you had a wonderful time and made many happy memories with your child. We look forward to seeing you again soon for more exciting school events!
